This year, the Conference is set to take place shortly after Brexit becomes a reality. At this pivotal moment in EU history, we will be looking at Europe’s future engagement with the world. The 2020 HELA Spring Conference will explore this topic through four panel discussions:

(2) Migration After Brexit
(3) Trade and Foreign Relations
(4) AI and the GDPR

Keynote speaker: Sir Nicholas Forwood, former Judge at the European General Court, will deliver a keynote address at the start of the day.

Afternoon address: Michael Weiss, legal advisor to the President of the European Parliament.
