Quick and effective communication is very important in these times of increasingly busy lifestyles. In this context, creating visually attractive and straightforward figures to communicate research results or ideas becomes essential to facilitate communication and impact on the public. Ggplot2 is a system for creating elegant data visualizations in an easy way implemented in R. In this seminar we will learn the basic philosophy behind this system, and we will go through different examples of data visualizations applicable in many fields.
