**Ainhoa Alba de Jesús**, a Biomedical Engineering student at UPM and Research Intern at the Harvard Biodesign Lab, works at the intersection of Human-Robot Interaction and bioinspired robotics, focusing on wearable sensing for biomechanical monitoring.

Her research addresses one of the key challenges in assistive technologies: moving from controlled laboratory environments to scalable, real-world clinical solutions. Currently at Harvard, Ainhoa develops ultrasound wearable sensors, integrating embedded firmware (C/STM32) with advanced biosignal processing to capture precise muscle and tendon dynamics. Her expertise spans deep learning frameworks for motion decoding and low-level hardware–software integration.

By prioritizing human-centered design and AI-driven solutions, Ainhoa is contributing to a new generation of intelligent, accessible medical devices that combine clinical impact, comfort, and real-world usability.
