RCC is pleased to announce this talk by Fernando Álvarez Prozorovich, Professor of Architecture at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Fernando Alvarez Prozorovich is a Licensed Architect from the Escuela de arquitectura y urbanismo de La Plata, at Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina, 1978). Ph.D. from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona - Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña ETSAB-UPC (Spain, 1991). Álvarez Prozorovich is Full-time tenured Professor of History of Art and Architecture II. He is also professor of the Master Oficial de Teoría e Historia de la Arquitectura at ETSAB-UPC. He has supervised several doctoral dissertations in relation to Latin-American authors and works. Currently, he is also the coordinator of the Doctoral Program of Theory and History of Architecture (Departamento de Composición Arquitectónica– ETSAB-UPC) as well as director of the Master de Restauración de Monumentos at the Universidad Politecnica de Cataluña.
